党的二十大提出以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴,为新形势下中国城市群的发展指明了新方向。首先,对当前国内外现实情况和城市群政策演进进行梳理,探讨中国式现代化视域下推进城市群发展的重要意义和作用。其次,从宏观、中观和微观层面解析二者之间的理论逻辑。最后,从培育壮大新动能、增强综合承载力、推动大中小城市协同发展、优化空间布局、推进城乡融合五个方面提出未来城市群战略推进的路径选择,以期为推进以城市群为主体形态的新型城镇化建设、实现高质量的发展目标提供思路和建议。

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization, pointing out a new direction for the development of China's urban agglomeration under the present situation. First, sort out the current domestic and international realities and the evolution of urban agglomeration policies, and discuss the significance and role of promoting the development of urban agglomerations from the perspective of Chinese-style modernization. Secondly, analyze the theoretical logic between Chinese-style modernization and urban agglomeration from the macro, meso and micro levels. Finally, the paper proposes targeted path choices for the strategic advancement of future urban agglomerations from five aspects: cultivating and expanding new driving forces, enhancing comprehensive carrying capacity, promoting the coordinated development of large, medium-sized, and small cities, optimizing spatial layout, and promoting urban-rural integration. This study sheds lights on the future path for promoting the development of urban agglomerations to achieve high-quality development goals.
